Plug your business into banking.
One connection to accounts, payments, cards, credit and money movement. Build your product — we'll plug in the financial layer.
One network. Two markets.
PLUG runs in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. You write the code once and the same services work in both. Add the second market without a second build.
Same code. Both markets.
One request, one field. Point it at Azerbaijan or Uzbekistan and the same call works — no forked codebase, no second integration.
- Write once. One API, one set of keys, one contract.
- Two regulated markets. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, live today.
- No second build. The second market is a flag, not a project.
Connect once.
Turn on what you need.
Your product talks to one connection. We keep the banking side working behind it.
Everything you can build.
Pick the ones you need and ignore the rest. They all run on the same connection, in both markets.
See what a call looks like.
Here are two of them. The market is a field, so the same call works in either country. These are examples, not live requests.
Everything you need to know.
What PLUG is, what you can build, how the sandbox works, and how to go live.
What is PLUG?+
PLUG is financial infrastructure for businesses. Through a single connection you can open accounts, issue cards, onboard customers, move money, and offer credit — without becoming a bank yourself. You build the product; PLUG plugs in the regulated financial layer underneath.
What is Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS)?+
Banking-as-a-Service lets non-bank companies embed banking and payment features directly into their own products through an API. Instead of building bank integrations and holding licenses yourself, you consume ready-made building blocks — accounts, cards, transfers, compliance — and ship them under your own brand. PLUG is a BaaS provider.
How is PLUG different from a bank or a payment processor?+
A payment processor moves card payments between merchants and banks. A bank holds the license and owns the customer relationship. PLUG sits in between: it turns a licensed institution's capabilities into clean APIs, so your business can embed accounts, card issuing, and money movement inside its own product.
Who is PLUG for?+
Any business that wants to embed financial features: fintech startups, marketplaces and platforms, payroll and HR tools, delivery and gig platforms, lenders, and companies that pay suppliers or contractors at scale.
Which markets does PLUG support?+
Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan today. The same API and the same integration serve both markets — you point one field at the market you need, with no forked codebase and no second integration.
What can I build with PLUG?+
Accounts and IBANs, virtual and physical card issuing with spend controls, money movement (account-to-account, payouts to customers, supplier payments), built-in KYC onboarding, and B2C credit and loan disbursement — composed however your product needs.
Do I need a banking license to use PLUG?+
No. PLUG provides the licensed rails and you build on top. The sandbox separates Licensed and Unlicensed flows so you can model exactly what your business is authorized to do, and see where a licensed partner is required.
What's the difference between the Licensed and Unlicensed products?+
Licensed flows cover regulated operations — full card issuing and account operations that run on a licensed institution's rails. Unlicensed flows cover what you can operate without holding a license yourself. Both are exposed in the console so you can design around the right model from day one.
How does onboarding and KYC work?+
KYC runs as a guided flow — identity verification, regulatory checks, and digital signing — ending with the customer onboarded and, where relevant, a card issued. You can walk the entire sequence in the sandbox before wiring it into your product.
What is the sandbox?+
A real, public sandbox that mirrors production behavior. You register, get credentials, and call live endpoints end-to-end — without moving real money. It's the fastest way to see exactly how the API behaves before you commit.
How do I get started?+
Three steps: register in the sandbox with your corporate email, receive your client_id and api_key, then call the API at sandbox.plugn.us with those credentials. No sales call required to start building.
Is the sandbox free?+
Yes — testing in the sandbox is free.
How do I authenticate?+
Every request is authenticated with your client_id and api_key against the sandbox base URL, sandbox.plugn.us. You can regenerate your API key at any time from the console.
What can I test in the sandbox?+
The console groups endpoints by product: accounts and licensed card issuing, unlicensed flows, non-PCI-DSS card data, KYC / onboarding, and transfers (B2B and B2C). Each ships with ready-to-run example requests.
How does PLUG keep data and cards secure?+
Sensitive data is encrypted at rest, card data is handled through dedicated PCI-conscious endpoints, and full card numbers are never returned in plain form. Endpoints are split so you only touch raw card data when you genuinely need to.
How do I go live in production?+
Once your integration works in the sandbox, contact the PLUG team to complete onboarding and commercial terms and receive production credentials.
How much does PLUG cost?+
The sandbox is free. Production pricing depends on the products you use and your volumes — get in touch for a quote tailored to your case.
Who operates PLUG, and how do I get support?+
PLUG is operated by PLUGN LTD, based in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. Reach the team any time at plug@plugn.us.
